Privacy policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers Helix Solutions ("we", "us") and this website only. It does not cover the websites we build and run for our clients — each of those carries its own policy.

What we collect

Information you give us

If you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name and email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, business name, current website, what you need, and your message. Nothing on this site asks for payment details, government identifiers, or health information.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server request logs, which include IP addresses, the pages requested, timestamps, and browser user-agent strings. These exist to serve the site and to diagnose problems. We also record the submitting IP address briefly, in memory only, to rate-limit the contact form against automated abuse; it is not stored and does not persist.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people visit. It does not set cookies, does not use device fingerprinting, and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other websites.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. It loads no scripts, fonts, or images from any other company's servers — everything comes from this domain. There is nothing here to accept or decline, which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss the work you asked about.
• To keep the site working, secure, and free of abuse.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or trade it. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:

• Vercel — hosting and request logs.Their privacy policy.
• Resend — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.Their privacy policy.
• Our email provider — where your message arrives and is read.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions stay in our email for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our dealings with you. Server logs are retained by our host on their own schedule, typically a matter of weeks. We do not keep a separate database of enquiries on this website.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — including for Global Privacy Control and similar browser opt-out signals, which we honour by default.

To make a request, email sales@helixsolutions.co. We will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to verify who you are before acting on a request about specific information.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted and are delivered to our email rather than stored in a database on this site. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of information we hold deliberately small.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, that site's own privacy policy applies once you leave ours.

Changes

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
